Mary Brinton Conferred the Order of the Rising Sun

Faculty Associate Mary Brinton, Reischauer Institute Professor of Sociology at Harvard University, has been conferred the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon by the Government of Japan. She is honored for her contributions to the field of Japanese studies.
