Politics and Economics of International Finance 2016 (PEIF)

April 2, 2016

This conference is closed to the public.

This meeting on the Politics and Economics of International Finance (PEIF) is the second in a possible continuing series of annual one-day PEIF conferences. The goal is to bring together scholars interested in economic and political-economy issues in international financial relations. The conference builds on a research group organized in the late 1980s by Barry Eichengreen and Jeffry Frieden that focused on economic and monetary unification in Europe—later expanded to include international finance more generally. The current PEIF series is chaired by Jeffrey Frankel and Jeffry Frieden. The series is made possible by a gift from Andrew Quale, Jr., a lawyer with a long history of professional interest in international financial affairs.
